6252 10/02/2021 Globalization Sustainable Development Course Students explored globalization in all its diverse forms of global interconnection, made up of economic, legal, political, cultural, and social ties. They analyzed independently, and holistically how globalization operates in conjunction with one another to produce the overall effect that has been given the single label “globalization”. In the process, they developed and strengthened their analytical skills. The awardees completed the full programme having actively participated in discussions and debates. Additionally, demonstrating particular achievement they delivered presentations as part of the course. On completion of the programme, students have developed their communication, public speaking, and debating skills. The activity contributed to the development of four WIUT graduate attributes: • Critical and creative thinker; • Literate and effective communicator; • Global in outlook and engaged in communities; • Socially, ethically and environmentally aware.

6471 19/04/2021 Spring HR School Westminster International University in Tashkent in collaboration with the the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan conducted the Spring HR School for students, graduates and staff. The programme included a series of guest lectures by HR practitioners representing some of the renown companies operating in Uzbekistan, including Orient Group, Korzinka, Beeline, The Tower Mall Management Group, Antal Uzbekistan and Mars.
